If you are an avid fan of movies, music, or comic books then would you be willing to write several articles and reviews about the subject matter? If this appears to be a topic of interest and you are able to write a couple of articles every week (with a minimum of 500-plus words per article) then you have found an ideal website to have your material published on a regular basis. Please contact the blogger-in-chief at mattehavoc@gmail.com with a couple of examples of your writing skills. The primary goal is to write on topic about a movie, an album or band, or a comic book and to have the style blend in well with the other material that appears on the website.

Dallas Heinlein is an avid fan of film making, photography, and writing. As a college graduate of Palomar College (San Marcos, California), he is the recipient of two Associate of Arts degrees, including one with an emphasis in cinematic history and film criticism. While attending college Dallas began looking for an opportunity to immediately apply his collegiate learning in the real world. Among the list of ideas, he was drawn to the concept of writing articles of film criticism, but was inexperienced in the business world of print publishing. After a reasonable amount of research for alternative pathways for self-publishing he discovered the promising opportunity in the world of online blogging where the overhead is cheap and the size of the audience is unlimited. In 2007 he created the personal blog site for which he called Matte Havoc. After several years, the site is still going strong and has been featured a few times on the main page for the Internet Movie Database website. During the moments of down time when he is not writing about movies, Dallas enjoys reading a variety of books, watching sports games (particularly hockey and baseball), visiting the local bowling alley for a couple of games, and occasionally visit a local comedy club for a few laughs. Currently, he resides in San Diego, California, working full-time at a broadcast television station as a news production and programming crew member.
